In the centre of the building is a staircase which I took. Part of the first floor is missing, in the other remains the bottom of a removed kettle.


Inside

I found some nice tile-painting above the door from which I shot the picture above.

It measures about 1.5 by 0.75 metres. 1879 was when the brewery moved to Hengelo, 1954 was probably when the brewery was drastically modernised.
I'm not sure what the pictures all mean. The coat of arms on the left is the coat of arms of Twente, which also appeared on products of the brewery. In the background a typical Twents farm.

On the rear side of the building are some silos. I didn't notice them at first until I was on top of them.


On top of the silos. One can have a look onto the roof, but it is not very interesting and you're pretty visible.
