A very interesting little door at Waldrach, unfortunately locked.

The original stone arch bridge has been made 'drunk-cyclist-proof'.

The next bridge in Waldrach lookes completely new.

Another bridge across the Ruwer at Waldrach. In the background a road viaduct crossing the former railroad

The arch bridge at +/- km 8.6 seems to have collapsed (or maybe destroyed in the war). It was replaced by a steel bridge for the railroad and now by this kitschy looking covered bridge for the bicyclepath.

Yes! At km 8.7 the feet-killing tarmac ends (for now) and I find my way across a somewhat overgrown trackbed

Small railroad crossing (+/- km 9.1)

Bridge and Ruwer at km 10.5. The bridges have all been prepared for bicycle use

Halting place Sommerau is still recognisable.
