Allright, one 'camping-at-the-railroad'

On top of the Heuselbacher viadukt (km 88).
No wide views in the hazy weather, I should have taken a look yesterday
evening |

A railworkers shed (?) between the tunnel
and the viadukt. It is fitted with railway wheels. |

Just past the viadukt is the Hoxeler tunnel,
240 m. long |
![](/photos/hermessim34.jpg)
The tunnel is build in an S-curve, so completely
dark inside. |

After a few uneventful kilometers through a wooded
area we arrive at the most impressive viadukt. The Hoxeler viadukt is 160
meters long and 40 high, spanning the valley with 8 arches. In the background
the stonequarry which I could see yesterday. |

Brambles and dead trees don't make the going
