Twentec Towers

18-02-01 (Sunday)

The Twentec Towers are two office towers connected on the first three floors to each other and to the V&D (shopping mall), right next to the city centre. The one on the right is to be demolished, the other renovated.

Entry was easy, but a kid was hanging around next to it so first I cycled around a bit. He wasn't doing much so I decided to go for it. As soon as I entered I ran into two other kids. The oldest (and probably the wisest) had been waiting outside. They asked me if they could join me as I explored the building, I didn't mind (probably didn't have a choice anyway). I saw the lights in the basement were on, but we decided to climb to the roof first. After climbing 13 floors we had a nice view from the top.

View over the city centre. I'm pretty sure the little black blob on the horizon is the WB-tower.
