By now I had explored most of the rooms of this building and I had a bit of lunch outside next to the door where I came in. When I looked up I noticed the balcony above me. I had not been to that level yet. So I went back in and started looking for another staircase, but the only thing I could find was a hole in the ceiling. Maybe the top level had been abandoned longer ago and the stairs had been removed. Or the entrance to this level is somewhere I hadn't been yet.
Anyway, I gave up and crossed over to where the demolition had already begun.

Already demolished. It seems they sort and take away the debris first before continuing with the demolition.

From inside the partly demolished hall.

Here too a small office still filled with documents. Half a bottle of cola is growing some interesting yellow fungus.

Another picture of the desk in this small office. I stole a spindle of thread from here as a souvenir, don't think anyone will miss it.

Was (almost ?) seen by cyclists here.

Containers to transport the sorted debris.
Some buildings, like the main office building, I hadn't explored yet because they were in plain view of the busy road. I felt I had done enough for today and left the same way I came in. I took some pictures of the outside walking around the factory for the last time and then went home.

Front gate and administration building. Nice lights on the fenceposts
Saturday 24-08-2002

Only a week had past since the previous exploration session in Spinnerei Deutschland, but I knew I had missed some parts of the complex and it was being demolished so there wasn't much time left. In contrast to a week ago this time the weather was rainy.
Entering the factory grounds the same way as last time I immediately saw the progress of the demolition workers. Part of the wall of the large hall had been knocked down, together with several side buildings. I entered through the big hole in the wall, carefully because the roof here was hanging down dangerously.

I was standing in there just a week ago.

Destruction done during the week.
