The Franeker agricultural corporation was founded in the beginning of
the last century. In 1979 the FLC merged with CAF and in 1990 CAF merged
with ACM. The building complex along the Van Harinxma-canal in Franeker
is now empty and soon to be demolished, though the agricultural shop 'Welkoop'
behind the buildings is still in business.
