 Most of the greenhouse area is covered by 'greater bindweed' (haagwinde oftewel pispotje), which creates a strange jungle-like atmosphere |
 On the main path beneath the bindweed I walk on a layer of glass shards. More worrying are the loose shards still hanging above my head on this windy day. The broken glass here is probably the result of vandalism, as most of the glass sheets in the greenhouse away from this main path are intact. |

 This is what happens to roses if they aren't pruned for a decade or so! They grow to the roof (and beyond) leaving everything below in gloomy darkness |
 Attempt at arson. Sadly this seems to be standard procedure at all abandoned locations in Leeuwarden. |
