Back again to the crossroads hall. Back the way I came in, to the
east, was another hall. |
Crossroads hall, facing east. Three
portals to three different worlds. |
A relatively small hall, the creamy white colored paint pealing from
the still waterproof roof. I noticed there was very little of the
normal random junk lying about. On the far end some small mechanical
rooms for the heating/air-conditioning. |
|
Turning left/south I entered another larger hall, the main hall. It's
the ground floor of the multilevel part of the building. On the side
more empty mechanical or storage rooms. A large hole had been made
in the ceiling, probably to get larger things (cars?) up one level. |

'"No drinking water" (as
in "not for consumption"), in two languages. |
|
On the south side, the front side of the factory, some offices with
glass walls. I passed through one of the offices, found a doorway,
found a stairwell (stairwell number 1) and ended up in the "brick
hall" (called so because it has an unpainted redbrick wall and
I couldn't think of a better name). |
|
I had a choice to go right, left and straight ahead. At first I thought
the way straight ahead was blocked by a door, but I luckily noticed
just in time this was only a loose plate. Had I given this "door"
a big yank to open it, the plate would certainly have fallen over
and that would have made quite a racket. Anyway, the doorway leads
to the roofless and collapsed part of the factory. I let it be for
now and turned right. Some darker not very interesting hall with some
side rooms followed, through another door into a smaller but high
room. Some doors on a higher floor led here but the staircases had
disappeared. |
|
A bit more complicated set of rooms followed with some higher officelike
rooms and lower storage rooms. I found a washing basket with junk,
an old toolbag with some rusty tools left and pieces of wood and debris
you normally find in these places. |
