Stone bridge at km 96 |
R=300 Ü=65 ÜA(?) L=45.75 RA
Written on the crossties in a lot of places (with other values) |
Thalfang is the first station I encounter
which still has some of it's railroad yard left. |
Though the rails are being conqueured by
birches, the station building is in good condition and in use as a restaurant. |
The Hunsrückhohenstrasse and a local
road on a new bridge in the foreground crossing the railroad |
Development of a new industrial zone in
Talfang threatens the railroad |
. |
The railroad crossing at km 91 with a view
of what is to come. The grey spot is the stone quarry at Hoxel. |
Station Deuselbach.
I begged some drinking water from nice people in the village, which saved
me a walk all the way down to the graveyard in the valley |
Before making camp for the night I had a
look at the Deuselbacher viadukt from below. |
