In Kell a bridge is missing. Probably was
to narrow or low for this busy road. |
Kell am See (+/- km 37) station building
is used as a museum. They even left some 10 metres of track. About 500 metres
towards Trier is still a loading platform.
In the rain and soaking wet I asked for drinking water at the graveyard
(they had sort of scooping basins instead of an outside tap). I had enough
and parked my tent between some young fir trees just past Kell. |
Next day, foggy but dry. (+/- km 39.2) |
Somewhere
I took a shortcut through the woods as I was getting fed up with marching
on the loose gravel all the time. Good decision as there was a short rainshower
just as I took a break in a small shelter |
Approaching Reinsfeld. |
My feet didn't know if they had to be happy
or not but the railroad has been asphaltised again. The tracks, sort of
a monument, are not in the original position. |
Station Reinsfeld (+/- km 44) |
Plenty of drunk cyclist guardrails. The
kilometerstone has gotten a new paintjob, though I have my doubt about its
original position |
Some nice views over the surroundings (+/-
km 45). They left the telegraph poles too, as sort of a monument I suppose |
