In some places the railway is completely overgrown but in other places it is just a nice grassy walking path between to steel borders

For unknown reasons (cable, sewer?) a bit of track has been removed

Approaching station Mahlsdorf, but this is not the station building proper

This is the station building of Mahlsdorf I think, at least it resembles the one on KDs Eisenbahnseiten. Looks like the rails are just beneath the tarmac

Turnout along the Bahnhofstraße

The cobblestone Bahnhofstraße, the tracks lay hidden on the left side

A small collapsing freight storage shed
A collapsed culvert led to the removal of a few meters of track but other than that the track between Mahlsdorf and Benkendorf is complete. It is very overgrown in most places though so I chose to walk through the fields parallel to the railroad most of the time.

Plenty of stations along this local railroad. This turnout marks the beginning of station Benkendorf

Standing on the platform overlooking the invisible track

Benkendorf wasn't considered big enough for a full station building, it only got this shelter.
